Disability Rights Texas can help!
- Persons covered by Texas Medicaid have a right to receive certain medically necessary healthcare services.
- If Texas Medicaid or the Medicaid Managed Care Health Plan reduces or denies medically necessary healthcare services, they must issue a notice and provide an opportunity to appeal.
- If you need help with a Medicaid appeal or have questions about your rights, please contact the Healthcare/Community Integration Team at Disability Rights Texas, a non-profit legal organization offering free advocacy.
